About the Role
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our supply team. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children and want the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of nursery settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day care of children aged 0-5 years
- Assist in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment
- Help with activities that support children's learning and development
- Work alongside Nursery Practitioners and staff as part of a team
- Help maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the setting
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- A genuine interest in working with children
- Previous experience in a childcare or nursery setting (desirable but not essential)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude
- Basic understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
