Worldwide Education, the UK’s number one supply agency, is currently looking to speak with experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors who are interested in temporary day-to-day supply opportunities in the Reading area. Successful candidates will work alongside supportive teaching staff and senior leadership teams across a variety of schools, helping to maintain a productive and safe learning environment while ensuring students continue to receive high-quality education.

The Role

  • Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Support students in maintaining engagement with their learning
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership teams
  • Ensure a safe and positive classroom environment

Pay

Daily pay rates range between £89 - £105 per day, depending on:

  • Experience
  • Training
  • Qualifications

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Be passionate about working with children and young people
  • Have experience working in mainstream British schools
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Hold QTS / NQT status (desirable but not essential)
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
