We are seeking flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary and secondary schools. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting pupils' learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across your assigned year group or subject area (EYFS/KS2 in Primary, KS3/KS5 in Secondary).
- Follow the school's lesson plans and behaviour policies to ensure continuity of learning.
- Maintain a calm, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.
- Support pupils' academic progress and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, including teaching assistants and department leads.
- Mark work and provide feedback as required by the school.
- Adapt to different school settings, subjects, and age groups.
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and school-specific procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching in a primary and/or secondary school setting.
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to travel to different school locations, often at short notice.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and different school systems.
- Experience working with SEND pupils and using differentiation strategies.
