What Vendor Management Does at Worldwide
The vendor management team works cross-functionally across Worldwide to drive outsourced service excellence, control costs, manage and mitigate risks stemming from outsourced services, and gain increased value from our vendors throughout the partnership life cycle. Vendor Management is responsible for managing the life cycle of our vendors from sourcing, identification, onboarding, managing, development, and off-boarding of vendors. We strive to build a mutually beneficial relationship with our vendors and convert a regular business transaction into a long-standing partnership.
What you will do
- Responsible for preparing vendor contracts by incorporating the associated vendor budget and scope of work into the standard contract templates and submitting to vendor for approval.
- Review contract documents for accuracy and technical completeness.
- Compose, proof read, edit and prepare correspondence using MS Word.
- Manage the contract approval/execution process, document all required approvals including legal and management authorizations.
- Manage and track vendor contracts and supporting documentation.
- Document deviations from policies, business processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist Director of Contracts in secondary negotiations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
- Ensure departmental and office content on SharePoint is monitored and updated.
- Work on related projects as needed and update manager on status of projects.
- Must work in a team environment and communicate with the other U.S. and international offices.

What you will bring to the role
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work independently under supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously; flexible and able to use sound independent judgment and take initiative to assess information and anticipate needs.
- Ability to interact in a diplomatic and professional manner required.
- Proven history of resourcefulness.
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Strong organizational and technical skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research.
- Capability to assist in the negotiation of legal and financial terms.
- Data analysis / presentation an advantage.
- Process improvement and facilitation experience would be an advantage.
Your Experience
- CRO experience is strongly preferred.
- 2-4 years working in vendor contracts administration.
- 2+ years in contract negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree required.
