Job Description
What Patient Recruitment department does at Worldwide
In Patient Recruitment, our mission is to ensure enrollment milestones are met by making it easier for patients and sites to participate in a clinical research study. Drawing on our extensive experience, and in collaboration with our study team, we will develop a tailored recruitment strategy that will focus on raising awareness of clinical trial opportunities along the patient pathway, effectively communicating with potential participants, supporting clinical research sites, and improving the overall study experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead, hire, develop, motivate, and mentor Feasibility team members. This can include line and/or functional management.
- Defining goals, setting targets, and developing and enforcing feasibility coordination processes.
- Oversee feasibility activities assigned to the team including delighting customers (internal & external customers), managing timelines & quality expectations, and working within the confines of the budget.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Worldwide Therapeutic Area Leads, Medical & Scientific Affairs leads, Medical Directors, Regulatory Experts, and other stakeholders to support the feasibility process.
- Develop comprehensive Strategic and Site Feasibility strategies, creating and enforcing processes that scale across a variety of therapeutic areas and types of deliverables.
- Directly support the feasibility process for proposals, bid defenses, and site identification.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- An effective communicator, both written and spoken English, who demonstrates the ability to write persuasively.
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- Ability to process information quickly and dynamically adapt to new information.
- An accomplished negotiator with the ability to influence and present to small and large groups.
- Have a track record of successful collaboration with other functional areas and managing teams, with proven responsibility for delivery to timelines in both the pre and post-award space.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% for business needs (domestically and internationally).
Your Experience
- 12+ years’ of transferrable experience in industry, health care, or data driven feasibility.
- Within the total years of experience, at least five (5) years must be in feasibility at a contract clinical research organization.
- Background in medicine, science or other relevant discipline with substantial international experience in clinical drug development across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
- A track record of successful management of teams with proven responsibility for delivery to timelines and budgets.
- Minimum 5 years management experience, including international team members.
- Knowledge of the principles of Good Clinical Practice.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
