An exciting time for Worldwide Attractions as we continue to expand our work across the travel and tourism industry and welcome a new member to our growing team. Worldwide Attractions is a UK-based B2B travel sales and marketing representation company. We represent destinations, tourist attractions, sightseeing tours and tourism services across Europe and North America, working with the UK travel trade to increase sales, visibility and revenue for our clients. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Account Manager to manage a portfolio of attractions and help grow their sales and presence within the UK travel trade market.

The Role

  • Develop relationships across the UK travel trade sector including group travel, FIT and online distribution partners
  • Increase sales opportunities and develop new business for your clients
  • Deliver sales and marketing activity including sales calls, online meetings, presentations and training
  • Attend trade events, workshops and client meetings when required
  • Maintain regular communication with clients through video calls, phone calls, emails and quarterly written activity reports
  • Build strong knowledge of client products and adapt sales approaches for different markets and customers
  • Work closely with international clients and confidently adapt to different cultures and nationalities

Requirements

  • Experience within the travel and tourism industry - Essential
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in sales
  • Strong understanding of the B2B travel trade sector
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Enjoys working with new IT systems and AI
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
  • Commercially aware, proactive and adaptable
  • UK based applicants only with right to work.

Additional Information

  • Starting on 13 hours per week, worked over 3 days, with potential for hours to increase over time
  • Flexible working arrangements available
  • Home-based role - Ideally based in or around the South West of England, although this is not essential
  • Some UK travel required for training and meetings
  • Occasional international travel
