The Global Finance Team manages and controls WorldQuant’s financial reporting systems. Within this team, the Financial Planning & Analysis Team is responsible for cost allocation to WorldQuant Millennium Advisors (WMA), a joint venture between WorldQuant and Millennium. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the Financial Analyst will own the cost allocation model and financial analytics for WMA.
Responsibilities:- Lead and execute the monthly cost allocation model, ensuring completeness and compliance with allocation policies.
- Analyze all model drivers for accuracy through comparative testing and KPI analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
- Maintain a rigorous quality-control process for all cost allocation reporting, including structured checklists, audit trails, and formal stakeholder sign-off.
- Manage and execute the allocation budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial outlooks.
- Conduct financial analysis across a variety of workstreams – including but not limited to profitability, sensitivity, and compensation analysis – translating results into actionable insights that support strategic decision making.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes, tools, and reporting capabilities while proactively anticipating and addressing stakeholder needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar analytical discipline.
- Advanced Excel and data-management skills (will be evaluated as part of the interview process).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a financial services industry role.
- Ability to work well under short deadlines with enhanced attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational skills, and ability to create auditable financial models.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
