You will work directly with a team and you would need to provide the web design for a new website.

Design and create visually appealing websites that align with organisation guidelines.

Translate design concepts into fully responsive, mobile-friendly layouts and user interfaces.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.

Revise and improve existing websites to ensure a consistent and modern user experience.

Building reusable HTML/CSS templates and UI components

Troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues

Familiar with WorldPress, You will be joining us at an exciting and pivotal time in the development of Power Up North London. We have delivered a total of 321 tonnes of carbon savings equivalent to the planting 14,700 trees and have established our credentials as a community energy group committed to tackling climate change through community action. We are now looking to scale-up our efforts in solar projects, and to extend our work to include delivery of a fuel poverty advice service, retrofitting projects and renewable heat projects.

Web design (including UX/UI), 1. Prior experience in web design and development, with a portfolio of previous work (either paid or volunteer).

Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch) and front-end development tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress

Skills Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail, layout, typography, and colour.

Ability to translate Charity goals and vision into an intuitive, engaging web experience.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimisation. Basic understanding of web hosting, security protocols, plug ins and domain management.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with non-technical staff.

Other Requirements Passion for design and willingness to volunteer time and skills to a meaningful cause. Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. Access to necessary software and tools for web design and development., * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) ,Figma, or Sketch other design tools.
