About the team

Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world. The teams build Java/SpringBoot based middleware, that is hosted on AWS/merchant environments, to provide payment capabilities to nearly 100k terminals, across the UK. These serve enterprise and SMB merchants, who could be based in retail or hospitality sector. By providing the all-important payment transaction capability to cardholders in-store, it's essential that the middleware components are built to a high standard. Expect to participate in designing, building and delivering not just Java based APIs, but capabilities built using other technologies as well. You will have the opportunity to work with development (coding, testing), infrastructure and operations engineers, in agile teams both in the UK and Globally. We have a great culture of automation in the team, be it to support continuous integration or automation of tests. We are always looking to improve on all fronts.
