We are seeking a highly skilled test analyst with a background in the financial sector and experience in large greenfield implementations of ServiceNow. In this pivotal role, you will drive the testing of multiple areas of the platform and optimization of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they meet our strategic goals and deliver exceptional value.
About the team: We are building a world class IT Service Management (ITSM) team from the ground up, using the ServiceNow platform to empower colleagues to deliver exceptional market leading services to our internal and external clients. This is your opportunity to join the rapidly growing ServiceNow platform team with a focus on driving Worldpay forwards in the way it makes knowledge-based decisions, built on solid data-driven evidence to improve our colleague and client experience, drive efficiency and cost savings, and improve the way we deliver service.
What you’ll own:
- Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement testing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project timelines.
- Test Case Development: Design and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios for ServiceNow modules within Test Management.
- Automation Script Development: Build, update, and execute automated tests in ServiceNow’s Automated Testing Framework (ATF).
- Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with developers, process owners/business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate functionality. This includes planning and running UAT for larger efforts.
- Defect Management: Own the defect lifecycle, including logging, prioritizing, and tracking defects to closure using ServiceNow.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies, propose enhancements, and champion best practices in methodologies and tools.
This role empowers you to be a key advocate for quality within the ServiceNow ecosystem while shaping robust testing processes.
What you bring:
- Extensive ServiceNow Expertise: Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, functionality, and platform capabilities with hands-on experience in testing customizations and integrations.
- Testing Proficiency: Proven experience in manual and automated testing, with a focus on functional, regression, and end-to-end testing in complex environments. Expertise in identifying, documenting, and resolving defects using tools like JIRA or within the ServiceNow platform.
- Automation Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or ServiceNow’s ATF, with the ability to design and maintain automation scripts.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify root causes and provide actionable insights.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Experience leading UAT sessions preferred.
- Process Improvement Orientation: Passion for refining testing processes and introducing best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
