About The Role
The role of experienced Salesforce Developer is to assist with day-to-day running of the Salesforce Org sitting across design, testing, development, and configuration. Scope, implement, and support system development for the Salesforce instance and ancillary tools. Drive and support twice weekly releases as well as various system updates and upgrades. Developing Salesforce applications & processes such as Partner Portal (Experience Cloud) and Merchant Onboarding.
What You’ll Own
- Analysing highly complex Salesforce project requirements to determine impact and/or change to system architecture.
- Contributes to Salesforce technical designs and handover documents, as required.
- Work collaboratively with Salesforce Admin and Architect to ensure that all requirements are documented for system changes (Projects and Features).
- Implement, improve, and guide on Salesforce Security best practices.
- Work with Salesforce Systems analysts to address application performance issues.
- Demonstrate an understanding of not only Salesforce system architecture and implementations but also Salesforce system architecture standards and best practices.
- Develop, document, and execute technical test plans and protocols to ensure Salesforce architectural changes are working properly.
- Install changes or enhancements made to Salesforce system architecture.
- Ensure migrated changes are properly implemented and available.
- Proactively report Roadmap, Bug, and BAU Progress to Senior Manager.
- Proactively determines and resolves potential issues.
- Handles multiple, highly complex projects from inception to completion.
- This role is required to work with different teams across different geographies and time zones to deliver business outcomes. As such, the role may be required to work or remain contactable outside regular hours due to different time zones at times.
Other related duties as needed.
What You Bring
- At least 4 years Salesforce Development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud / Sales & Service Cloud / Changesets & Deployments / Hyperforce exposure / API Development.
- Confluence and JIRA.
- Strong Knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, Flow, Lightning web components.
- Quality Assurance experience via test plans, report cards, and similar.
- Good understanding of Salesforce system customisation and use of recognised best practices.
- Working knowledge of business processes in a Salesforce system.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to utilise judgement in decision-making process and decisions related to job tasks.
- Communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Ability to understand and apply technical concepts.
- Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Flexibility, versatility, dependability.
Added Bonus If You Have
- IT degree (or equivalent).
- Salesforce Certification (Admin or Developer).
- Experience with Salesforce Managed Packages.
