We’re looking for a Retention Manager to join our ever-evolving SMB Retention Team to help us unleash the potential of every business. Are you ready to make your mark? Then you sound like a Worldpayer.

About the team: The inside sales team here at Worldpay is unique in many ways, from supporting over 220,000 SMEs all the way up to 12,000 corporate sized accounts from acquiring to retention. We really do support the UK economy through our products and services across the whole customer lifecycle. What we do really does matter to the UK economy and our customers alike from enabling business to trade across multiple platforms, grow into new markets internationally or through our ability to help keep business and consumers safe in these times.

What you will be doing: You will manage, coach and develop a high performing Customer Loyalty team. Achieving commercial sales targets and associated KPIs whilst at the same time improving and driving our cultural plan with the goal of having the highest employee engagement score. To achieve this, you will need to be able to work with your peers and a significant number of internal stakeholders on top of your individual accountabilities. Driving results in your team and collaboratively across department, talent pipeline, employee engagement and customer satisfaction will need to be delivered in equal amounts and not one at the expense of the others.

What you’ll own:

  • Responsible for c. 15 advisors
  • Responsible for achieving commercial performance and sales targets in line with budgets
  • Accountable for driving our culture within direct team and wider department
  • Demonstrate a commercial awareness to drive Net Income and adhere to pricing guidelines
  • Accountable for inspiring and motivating team whilst offering a range of card payment solutions and commercial offerings that will ultimately retain and grow our customers in this ever-changing world.

  • Experience of supporting and developing a sales team
  • A strong commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships
  • Added bonus if you have Coaching qualifications
  • Experience across multiple sales channels
  • Knowledge regarding our products and services
  • Generalist knowledge of Marketing, L&D, Data and Insights, relationship management, back office, remote working
