About The Team
We’re looking for a Reporting and insight analyst to join our global team. Working closely with Global Operations to support strategic initiatives, the operational analytics team harnesses data-driven insights to optimize processes and enhance performance across multiple regions. Identifying key trends to empower decision-makers to implement improvements that drive efficiency and foster innovation on a global scale. The team sits within the broader Business Insights & Intelligence group as part of the finance structure.
What You’ll Own
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and gather data to develop strategic insights.
- Design and implement advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring data is presented visually clearly and effectively.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and document data models, workflows, and reporting standards to enhance data integrity and efficiency.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices in reporting and data visualization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization to continuously improve reporting processes.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- SQL: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from relational databases.
- Data Visualization: Strong background in visual storytelling with talented skills in transforming complex datasets into engaging visual formats.
- Tableau: Extensive experience in developing dashboards and reports in Tableau;
- Excel: Advanced skills including pivot tables, formulas, functions and analysis.
- Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
- Statistical Analysis: Good knowledge of statistical concepts and methodologies to support data-driven insights.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of database management systems.
Added Bonus If You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analysis, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Tableau Server is a plus.
