About The Team
Are you an enthusiastic and passionate professional with a keen interest to deepen your understanding of the global payments landscape within the airline industry? In this role, you’ll work closely with some of the world’s largest flag carriers, applying creative problem-solving to support their complex needs. Through a proactive, customer-first approach, you will help drive strategic activity across key airline portfolios alongside the Senior Relationship Manager, and will play a pivotal role in supporting account performance.
What you’ll own as the Relationship Executive - Airlines:
- Ensure merchant is kept informed and up to date on the industry and all aspects of their business.
- Act as relationship owner when Senior RM/RM is out of office or not contactable.
- Update and ensure merchant records are accurate in CRM and/or relevant systems.
- Ability to translate and communicate commercial commentary on customer analytics/optimisation – both internally & externally.
- Attend regular customer meetings and take responsibility for summaries and actions in CRM and to relevant stakeholders.
- Account plan understanding and delivery (per portfolio - Working with the SRM and account teams to an Agreed strategy and project plan across portfolios).
- Quarterly business reviews (4 per merchant/year) - Prepare and present to customers on a regular basis, relaying relevant business updates and industry mandates/insights.
- Collaborate with Customer Success as necessary on cross-functional merchant issues.
- Responsible for own learning and development across the internal business, Vertical and customer portfolio.
- Vertical Expertise - you will be a vertical expert, keeping up to date with trends driving payments in this sector and work closely with the partnerships, innovations and product teams to ensure they are kept up to date with our customer H&L requirements.
- Support Senior RM/RM in key activities (e.g. cross-selling) to drive merchant advocacy and deepen partnership.
What You’ll Bring:
- Good understanding of Worldpay products and services.
- General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form via presentation in a clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to audience.
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements.
- Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure.
- Ability to show a self-starter mentality and enthusiasm for the role.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public.
It’s a bonus if you have:
