We’re looking for a Sr Director, Merchant Cash Advance to join our ever evolving SMB team and help shape the future of global commerce.
- What you’ll own
- Lead the investment-grade evaluation, business case development and executive approval process for launching an in-house merchant cash advance and embedded lending business, including financial modelling, portfolio scenarios, capital allocation and operating model design.
- Build, launch and scale a best-in-class lending platform by defining customer journeys, underwriting strategy, pricing frameworks, servicing models, technology requirements and third-party partnerships.
- Own commercial performance, portfolio outcomes and P&L accountability, including revenue growth, credit performance, losses, cost management, capital utilization and customer experience.
- Lead and optimize the existing Merchant Cash Advance business, driving sales performance, portfolio growth and customer adoption through data-driven insights, advanced analytics and targeted growth initiatives.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams across product, analytics, credit, operations, marketing, technology, compliance and servicing to deliver sustainable growth and exceptional customer outcomes.
- What you’ll bring
- 15+ years of experience in consumer, small business or commercial lending with deep expertise in merchant cash advance, business lending, credit cards, installment lending or related financial products.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale lending businesses, including ownership of P&L, portfolio performance, underwriting strategy, pricing and risk-reward optimization.
- Strong experience developing business cases, financial models, growth strategies and operating models for new products, business lines or lending platforms.
- Expertise leveraging internal and external data, analytics, machine learning and customer insights to drive acquisition, portfolio performance, customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex governance environments and lead multidisciplinary teams through transformation and growth.
