Overview
Worldpay Birmingham, United Kingdom is hiring a Learning & Development Officer to join the Customer Due Diligence Operational Delivery team in Birmingham. This role focuses on developing and delivering training to support regulatory compliance, customer due diligence processes and related operational capabilities.
What you’ll own as the Learning and Development Officer
- Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs related to customer due diligence, including regulatory changes, new products or services and emerging risks.
- Develop and maintain training materials such as eLearning modules, workshops and presentations covering topics including leadership skills, communication, UBO identification, source of wealth and sanctions screening.
- Deliver engaging training sessions to employees at all levels, tailoring content to their roles and responsibilities.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to communicate complex CDD concepts and processes.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of training programmes through pre/post assessments, surveys and other evaluation methods.
- Coordinate with quality assurance and other internal departments to identify new training needs or changes to the training curriculum.
- Maintain a repository of training materials and resources for ongoing learning and development.
- Stay informed of trends and industry best practices to keep knowledge up to date and effective.
- Work with Compliance, Legal and Human Resources to ensure training aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management to establish partnerships, develop performance models aligned with business goals and drive organisational performance.
What You\’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience in a financial institution, payments firm or similar regulated industry.
- Understanding of legal/regulatory requirements surrounding Customer Due Diligence.
- Certified to create, teach and implement process improvement, quality management, instructional design and adult learning theory.
- Significant expertise in facilitating adult learning and group dynamics.
- Experience with formal assessment processes, consulting and measurement practices.
- A self-starter who fosters a positive, inclusive, collaborative team culture and open professional communication.
