About The Team: The team is responsible for managing the payments business for larger SMB customers by driving additional revenue from the accounts to hit financial growth targets.
As a Corporate Relationship Executive, you will drive merchant advocacy and customer engagement within our Mid‑Market customer by acquiring, retaining and growing customer portfolios. This role is a blend of sales and retention; the most successful Relationship Executives will be able to balance their time and turn retention conversations into sales conversations by tying customers into long-term deals through the selling of new products and services.
What you’ll own as the Corporate Relationship Executive:
- You will act as a main point of contact to a portfolio of SMB customers.
- Drive merchant advocacy and customer engagement.
- Protect and grow net revenue within your portfolio through customer retention and cross-sell activity.
- Reduce attrition and limit giveaway when a review is undertaken.
- Ensure contracts are in place and up to date to drive customer retention.
- Increase product penetration and achieve cross-sell targets.
- Demonstrate understanding in company products and services, articulating customer requirements to enhance Worldpay’s product roadmap.
- Focus on account retention with a growth mindset to identify and pursue new opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in a telephony‑based customer contact position.
- You’ll be confident influencing and negotiating with customers when advising them about our products and services.
- This is a target‑based role. It’ll require you to be well organised, self‑motivated and tenacious.
- The information can be complex, so you’ll have a flair for helping the customer understand.
- Knowledge and experience of Excel and CRM knowledge.
- Experience in managing a portfolio and an individual sales target are essential.
