Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an experienced UK Risk Director to join our ever‑evolving Global Risk Management Team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
The primary responsibility of the Global Risk Management team is to support the strategic objectives of the business using your risk management expertise to ensure business objectives are achieved in a responsible and sustainable manner. You will be the Risk Officer for our UK entities, and the single point of contact representing the Global Risk Management team. On a day‑to‑day basis, you will lead numerous initiatives and priorities while partnering with stakeholders both within the UK and across the company to identify and mitigate risk.
Significant activities include:
- Partnering with key stakeholders to address complex local issues, considering and prioritising risk‑reward decisions
- Communicating effectively and professionally with UK Executives, Senior stakeholders, Independent Non‑Executive Directors as well as engaging with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
- Exercising sound judgment in assessing potential risks; whilst working within the Global Risk Management Framework
- Monitoring and escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders
- Serve as an escalation point for all UK risk matters
- Present risk assessment results to the UK Audit and Risk Committee and various other Risk forums
