Are you ready to write your next chapter? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Transformation Portfolio Director to join our ever-evolving Global Enterprise Operations team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll own as the Transformation Portfolio Director:

  • Lead the end-to-end orchestration of the Global Enterprise Operations transformation portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, sequenced, and collectively deliverable in a complex, evolving environment.
  • Facilitate executive-level prioritisation and trade-off decisions (quarterly and monthly), translating strategy into clear, actionable portfolio outcomes.
  • Directly lead a subset of strategic transformation programmes, providing hands-on oversight to maintain momentum, resolve issues, and ensure delivery of intended outcomes.
  • Shape and drive elements of the Global Enterprise Operations Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring alignment between structure, capability, and strategic ambition.
  • Maintain momentum and accountability across initiatives by challenging sponsorship, surfacing risks early, and ensuring decisions translate into tangible delivery progress.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading complex transformation portfolios while directly delivering large-scale programmes in a matrixed organisation, with exposure to senior leadership (ExCo-1 / LT level).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement Target Operating Models, including organisational design (OD), and translate high-level intent into executable, sustained change.
  • Strong track record of influencing outcomes and driving delivery without formal authority, particularly across diverse stakeholders and varying levels of delivery maturity.
  • Highly developed judgement in prioritisation and decision support, with the ability to frame trade-offs (scope, funding, timing, capacity) and guide senior stakeholders to clear, pragmatic decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments, bringing structure, pace, and clarity where information, alignment, or delivery confidence may be incomplete.

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience working within mixed funding models (e.g. investment-funded and self-funded initiatives) and navigating associated delivery and benefits realisation challenges.
  • A track record of building or uplifting portfolio, programme, or project delivery capability within a function or business unit.
  • A recognised delivery or transformation certification (e.g. MSP, PMP, SAFe, Lean), applied pragmatically rather than prescriptively.
