We’re looking for a Strategy Analyst - Product GTM to join our ever-evolving Enterprise Commercialization team and help shape the future of global commerce. You'll play a crucial role in driving the company's global growth by commercializing strategic initiatives and supporting our global propositions.
You will work at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial acumen to enable Worldpay's sales teams to effectively sell new products in new markets. This position requires a strong understanding of the payment industry and regional nuances. You will be responsible for the commercialization of running strategic initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and the support of successful product launches.
What you’ll own
- Sales Enablement: Enable the sales team to effectively sell optimisation solutions by providing technical expertise and support. Develop sales collateral, training materials, and product documentation tailored to specific products. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate the sales team on new products, features, and market-specific considerations.
- Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and partners in target countries. Collaborate with the cross functional business teams to support the commercial success of your products. Represent Worldpay at industry conferences, events, and meetings to promote the company's global presence.
- Market Analysis & Product Launch: Identify market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making. Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential new products and propositions for Worldpay. Evaluate potential demand for Worldpay's offerings across regions and verticals. Develop and execute plans for new product launches collaborating with cross-functional teams, to ensure commercial success.
- Technical Product Support: Collaborate with product development teams to identify and prioritize product features and enhancements for growth. Assess technical requirements and feasibility of launching new propositions. Work closely with the product team to define technical roadmaps and ensure open communication channels to keep sales teams updated.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience with at least 2 – 5 years in a similar role, preferably with point-of-sale / in-store experience.
- Understanding of the payments landscape.
- Technical proficiency and ability to understand complex technical concepts and product functionalities.
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical and commercial considerations when making strategic decisions.
- Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and evaluating new market opportunities.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
