What you’ll own as the Tech Lead:
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex queries, taking ownership through investigation, resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Support incident management activities and ensure effective communication during major incidents.
- Complete daily data uploads and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Prepare, review, and validate journal entries in accordance with financial control requirements.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on reconciliation discrepancies and provide accurate management information and reporting.
- Investigate and resolve aged outstanding items, partnering with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and quality assurance checks in line with SOX compliance standards.
- Manage month‑end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and ARCS submissions.
- Produce monthly aged break reviews, reports, and operational performance updates.
- Take ownership of audit‑related activities, ensuring actions are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and small‑scale projects to enhance efficiency, controls, and service delivery.
- Maintain training and accreditation records, ensuring team compliance and capability development.
- Deliver training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to team members, supporting ongoing development and process excellence.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of WPAP and Worldpay products.
- Excellent problem-solving and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying issues and anomalies.
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
