As the Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the manager to drive the strategy and change forward and ensure a robust control environment. You will manage escalations, ad-hoc project work, and the collation and analysis of statistics and MI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of contact for queries and escalations, providing accurate advice and information to both internal and external sources in a timely and professional manner.
  • Producing reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance.
  • Support Scheme Settlements projects & act as a SME.
  • Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure the team meets all SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Provide escalation to the Team Manager on a regular basis.
  • Continually look for ways of improving efficiencies, providing potential solutions and follow through to implementation.
  • Coach the team on any identified training gaps and errors made throughout the month.
  • Support SOX compliance.
What you'll bring:
  • Demonstrable experience of working within Settlement Operations.
  • Must be confident communicating at all levels – pro-active must have the confidence to approach other business areas for information needed.
  • Analysis skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to evaluate complex issues and make decisions.
  • Ability to look beyond the numbers to identify issues and anomalies and put corrective action in place.
  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast moving, challenging environment – must be highly motivated and able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
It’s a bonus if you have:
  • Snowflake/Tableau experience.
  • Finance Degree.
  • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting systems would be an advantage.
