We’re looking for a Product Director, Funding to lead our ever evolving Money Movement Product team and help shape the future of global commerce.
- What you’ll own
- You’ll define and execute the global vision, strategy and roadmap for Funding products and experiences, delivering customer, commercial and operational outcomes.
- You’ll own the Funding product portfolio, balancing innovation, regulatory requirements, scalability and business performance.
- You’ll lead end-to-end product development across Global Payments’ Funding capabilities, through both direct dedicated engineering teams and (via influence, alignment and matrix leadership) indirect engineering teams.
- You’ll identify new opportunities to improve how customers fund and move money, turning market insights into differentiated products and propositions.
- You’ll use data, customer insights and commercial metrics to prioritise initiatives and measure success.
- You’ll lead, develop and inspire a team of Product Managers, creating a high-performance culture that attracts and grows top talent.
- You’ll build strong partnerships across Engineering, Treasury, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver strategic outcomes and optimise funding capabilities globally.
- You’ll represent Funding at senior leadership forums, influencing decisions that shape the future of Global Payments’ Money Domain.
- What you’ll bring
- A product mindset with a strong customer-first, data-driven and strategic approach to decision making.
- The ability to define compelling product strategies and translate them into clear roadmaps, priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience building business cases, optimising performance metrics and delivering growth.
- Experience creating and scaling new products, propositions or capabilities from concept through to market adoption.
- The ability to communicate with clarity and influence, building credibility with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and align diverse teams behind a common vision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to navigate complex challenges and drive effective solutions.
- A background in payments, fintech or banking, with a strong understanding of global payment infrastructure, including schemes and rails such as SEPA, SWIFT and Fedwire.
- Knowledge of emerging industry trends, including digital assets, stablecoins and real-time payments, and the ability to translate them into business opportunities.
- Experience delivering complex product initiatives within large-scale, multinational organisations.
- Experience working within a SAFe product development environment.
- Direct experience in funding, treasury, liquidity, settlement or money movement products.
- Experience leading and developing product teams, including coaching, talent development and organisational leadership.
- A track record of improving ways of working, systems and processes, while influencing the evolution of product operating models (POM) across a wider product organisation.
- It’s a bonus if you have Experience with Global Payments’ NAP and Core platforms.
- Experience influencing executive-level stakeholders and shaping strategic decisions across a complex organisation.
- Experience building high-performing product organisations and developing future product leaders.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation, migration or technology modernisation programmes.
