Financial Analyst – responsible for financial planning, control and analysis across the organization.
Location: London, United Kingdom (hybrid – three days in office per week). This is not a fully remote role.
What you will be doing Perform technical analysis to determine current and future financial performance.
Gather, analyze and prepare recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
Meet with organizational unit/department managers to establish timelines and methodologies for budgets.
Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group.
Track revenue and expenses monthly, comparing actual vs forecast and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct economic research and studies on rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of discrepancies.
What you will need Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Accounting highly preferred.
Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and the company’s accounting policies, procedures and standards.
Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools.
Analytical and statistical examination skills.
Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met.
