Are you ready to write your next chapter? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an experienced Customer Due Diligence Data Analyst to join our ever-evolving CDD Enterprise team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

Location: Birmingham and Gateshead Office locations only - Hybrid Working Option Available, 3 days per week office attendance with occasional travel to other locations required.

What you’ll own as the CDD Data Analyst

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analysis of large datasets on a continual basis relating to CDD operations such as customer onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. This includes identifying trends, anomalies, and potential risks within our portfolio. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to clearly visualise key metrics and support decision-making. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for compliance, risk, and senior management teams.
  • Data Management: Perform routine and ad hoc data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities to enhance data accuracy and reliability. Support and recommend improvements to our data collection, storage, and analysis processes including automation where possible.
  • Coordination and Ownership: Act as a central point of contact for all CDD data related queries. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI dashboards and data interpretation where required. Monitor and analyse data on a regular basis, including existing dashboards, to ensure key trends, pain points, and risks are communicated to, understood and actioned appropriately by the CDD management team. Work with the CDD management team to ensure processes and cadences are in place to maintain data quality, suggesting automation & technical development where applicable.
  • Stakeholder Management: Draft, develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership articulating complex CDD data themes with relevant recommendations. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to CDD initiatives. Create and manage clear success metrics to track quantitative progress ensuring the effective adoption of new CDD processes and systems within the CDD operation and the wider Worldpay Environment. Engage with senior stakeholders, including Compliance, Risk, Operations, and IT teams, to drive alignment on CDD related data. Support the rollout of new CDD tools, automation solutions, and regulatory policy updates working closely with the CDD advisory and quality teams. Work closely with data, product, and technology teams to ensure system integrations and process changes align with CDD MI and data requirements. Identify operational and compliance risks associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies. Work closely with audit teams to ensure succinct communications and tracking of upcoming or outstanding items.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with concrete experience in developing presentations / slides to land effectively with varied audiences are essential for the role. Candidates will have to demonstrate a proven ability to present data both internally and externally and must have confident and extensive experience delivering presentations.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst within financial services with an understanding of CDD/KYC processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, operational environment where you have worked with operations leaders to drive performance and process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI (dashboard/report creation, Power Query), SQL and data manipulation tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with great attention-to-detail alongside experience with data quality management.
