We’re looking for a Head of International Platforms Product to join our growing International Platforms organisation and play a defining role in how we scale software‑led payments and embedded finance globally.
About the teamOur International Platforms Product team sits at the heart of Worldpay’s software‑led growth strategy. We own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for our international platform capabilities, enabling software partners to launch, scale, and expand payments across geographies with confidence. We operate across markets such as Australia and the UK today, working closely with regional commercial leaders and central platform teams to deliver globally consistent, locally relevant solutions—while building a repeatable product model for future international expansion.
What you’ll own as the Head of International Platforms Product- Own and evolve the International Platforms product strategy, defining how Worldpay delivers a cohesive, scalable, multi‑geo platform experience for software partners.
- Shape and execute a global product roadmap that supports international partner launch, scale, and expansion across current and future markets.
- Lead platform strategy across established markets (Australia) and growth markets (UK), while defining the product playbook for new geographies over time.
- Define how core payments, embedded finance, partner enablement, onboarding, reporting, settlement, and omni‑channel capabilities come together into a compelling international platform.
- Balance global consistency with local market, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Act as the senior product partner to regional GMs, commercial leaders, and central domain teams, influencing broader platform priorities and roadmap decisions.
- Ensure international platform needs are represented in enterprise‑wide architecture, capability investment, and product governance forums.
- Lead and develop a team of product managers accountable for the International Platforms portfolio.
- Drive strong cross‑functional alignment across product, engineering, operations, commercial, and regional teams to translate complex platform capabilities into simple, scalable partner solutions.
- Senior product leadership experience in platform, ecosystem, or multi‑market environments.
- Proven track record defining and delivering product strategies and roadmaps across multiple regions or stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of payments infrastructure and merchant lifecycle, including onboarding, risk, transactions, settlement, reporting, and integrations.
- Experience with software‑led payments platforms, embedded finance, or SaaS‑enabled payments.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with regional commercial leaders to align product direction with growth opportunities.
- Success leading and scaling distributed product teams with clear execution discipline and governance.
- Strong strategic judgement, able to evaluate trade‑offs and shape long‑term platform direction in evolving markets.
- Comfort operating in complex, matrixed organisations and influencing at senior leadership level.
- Experience supporting international expansion for payments or fintech platforms.
- Background working with software platforms or vertical SaaS providers.
