Responsibilities
- Product Ownership and Backlog Management: Own and maintain a prioritised product backlog across assigned ServiceNow modules, ensuring stories are well‑defined, estimated, and ready for sprint delivery.
- Translate complex business requirements from senior stakeholders into clear, testable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog refinement sessions with delivery teams, challenging ambiguity and driving clarity before work enters sprint.
- Define and manage the platform roadmap in alignment with organisational strategy and technology governance priorities.
- Make confident prioritisation decisions that balance business value, technical debt, regulatory compliance, and platform stability.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Governance: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, facilitate requirements workshops, process discovery sessions, and sprint reviews with cross‑functional teams.
- Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics in a large enterprise environment, managing competing priorities with clarity and confidence.
- Represent the voice of the business in all platform decisions, ensuring user needs remain central to delivery choices.
- Platform Delivery and Quality: Work closely with the ServiceNow development team to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with platform best practice.
- Lead user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements, coordinating business sign‑off before release.
- Manage platform release cycles in collaboration with the technical team, ensuring changes are communicated clearly to affected stakeholders.
- Identify and elevate risks and dependencies that could impact platform delivery or business continuity.
Qualifications
- Proven ServiceNow Product Owner or BA experience in a large enterprise environment.
- ServiceNow CSA certification (desirable).
- Demonstrable experience writing high‑quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria in an Agile delivery environment.
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder sessions at senior level.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills — able to decompose complex business problems into deliverable platform solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to present confidently to senior leaders and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, fast‑changing enterprise environment with competing priorities.
- CIS certification is a strong advantage.
