What you’ll own as the Senior Credit Analyst:

  • Undertake quality credit risk assessments to establish the ongoing creditworthiness of our customers.
  • Complete credit risk analysis demonstrating both insight and understanding across financial statements and relevant non-financial information.
  • Make recommendations from this, referring to policies for approval via the appropriate sanctioning authority.
  • Communicate your decisions/rationale in a clear and concise manner, proactively engaging with internal stakeholders and clients to find solutions to best manage our risk.
  • Participate in developing, testing and optimizing internal credit policies, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance.

What you'll bring:

  • A strong understanding of sophisticated credit risk management techniques and ability to apply these independently, including knowledge of financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to convey complex or difficult messages clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under strict timelines whilst maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude to work across various functional teams in multiple projects and serve as a credible voice for the Credit team.
  • A supportive attitude and willingness to assist fellow team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
  • 5 plus years experience in a credit risk role, ideally in payments, fintech or financial services.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal language skills in any of the following: German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Any other European language skills would also be advantageous.
