We are looking for a commercially‑driven Senior Commercial & Analytics Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising our New Customer Acquisition strategy. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, advanced analytics, and data science, with a mandate to drive revenue growth, improve targeting, and enhance go‑to‑market effectiveness in a highly competitive payments landscape. You will combine deep analytical expertise with strong commercial acumen, using data to inform decision‑making, optimise performance, and unlock new growth opportunities across marketing and sales channels.
What you’ll own:
- Lead the analytics and commercial optimisation strategy for New Customer Acquisition, identifying opportunities to drive growth, improve conversion, and maximise ROI.
- Translate complex data into clear commercial insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders across SMB UK and broader business units.
- Design and evolve market‑leading propositions, offers, and go‑to‑market strategies grounded in data‑driven insights.
- Embed a test‑and‑learn culture, designing and executing experiments (A/B testing and beyond) to continuously optimise performance across channels.
- Analyse transactional, financial, and behavioural data to uncover trends that inform pricing, product, and channel strategies.
- Monitor and assess performance of acquisition strategies, providing ongoing optimisation recommendations based on results and market dynamics.
- Influence and collaborate on cross‑functional strategic initiatives, supporting broader commercial and growth objectives.
What you bring:
- Strong experience in commercial analytics, strategy, or data science roles, ideally within payments, fintech, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of using data to drive commercial outcomes (growth, conversion, ROI optimisation).
- Strong analytical capability with experience working on segmentation, targeting, and performance optimisation.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience designing and implementing test‑and‑learn frameworks (e.g. A/B testing) to optimise business performance.
- Proficiency in SQL/Python (or similar) to analyse and manipulate large, complex datasets.
- Strong understanding of B2B / B2C environments and commercial drivers across marketing and sales funnels.
- Highly commercial mindset with a focus on prioritisation, impact, and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Experience working within a Snowflake or cloud‑based data environment.
- Exposure to Salesforce CRM and integration of analytics into sales processes.
- Familiarity with pricing strategy, product analytics, or channel performance optimisation.
