Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a dynamic, analytically minded individual to join our Manchester-based Settlements team, playing a key role in a high-volume, global environment.

About the team: Our global finance team is responsible for managing settlements across EMEA & APAC for 11 legal entities, handling payables and receivables in 80+ currencies. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accuracy and insight matter. We pride ourselves on being inclusive, supportive, and globally connected. What you’ll own:

  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries and account postings.
  • Investigate and resolve erroneous entries, rejected payments, and transaction issues.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations across high transaction volumes.
  • Analyse financial data and statements to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Partner with operational teams to resolve client queries and improve processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.

What you bring:

  • Solid understanding of accounting procedures and reconciliation processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Proven experience handling large-scale reconciliations.
  • Strong capability in managing and analysing high volumes of financial data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with Oracle or similar financial systems.
  • Exposure to Snowflake and/or Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a numerical subject (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or similar).
