Senior Software Engineer - Platform Engineer at Worldpay’s Cyber team responsible for developing and supporting products, adopting CI/CD best practices, improving delivery speed and resiliency, collaborating on product vision, and participating in agile sprints.
Responsibilities
- Experience in containerization technology (Docker, EKS).
- Set up, build, and manage CI/CD tools (CloudBees Jenkins, Harness).
- Provide technical support and consultation to development teams.
- Ensure team alignment with sprint/PI goals, participate in code reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
- Develop, execute project plans, budgets, and schedules; document work and results.
- Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience as a Platform / DevOps / Cloud Engineer.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Experience managing and automating AWS infrastructure.
- Proficiency in one or more coding/scripting languages (Java, Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with Helm.
- Experience with CI-CD automation and deployment.
- Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and logging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications in Cloud, IaC, or containerized applications are a plus.
- Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
