About The Role
Social Compliance and Human Rights is a core pillar of Worldly’s strategic focus. To support this ambition, we are seeking a senior leader to own Social Compliance as a business, product portfolio, and market-facing solution set. The VP, Social Compliance & Human Rights will be responsible for ensuring Worldly builds, positions, and scales social compliance solutions that address real customer needs and perform commercially. Rather than focusing solely on product execution or sales, this role combines business ownership, product strategy, and market leadership. You will have end-to-end accountability for Worldly’s social compliance offerings — including key products and social capabilities within the Worldly Core Platform — and will operate cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer teams.
What You’ll Do
- Market and Customer Leadership
- Serve as Worldly’s internal and external authority on social compliance, labor standards, and human rights in global supply chains.
- Maintain deep, ongoing engagement with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders to understand needs, pain points, and buying dynamics.
- Translate customer and market insights into clear product strategy, packaging, and go-to-market priorities.
- Represent Worldly with credibility and influence among senior customer leaders, partners, and industry organizations.
- Business and Commercial Ownership
- Own the business outcomes for Social Compliance, including revenue growth, adoption, and strategic relevance.
- Define and evolve pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for social offerings.
- Partner closely with Sales to support strategic deals, refine positioning, and improve sales effectiveness.
- Drive cross-sell and attach strategies between social compliance and environmental solutions.
- Product Strategy and Portfolio Direction
- Set the product vision and roadmap for all social-related solutions, including FFC, FSLM, Social Axion, and social functionality on the Worldly Core Platform.
- Make clear decisions on investment priorities, integration opportunities, and areas to maintain, evolve, or sunset.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate strategy into executable plans.
- Ensure the social product portfolio aligns with Worldly’s Horizon 2 objectives and long-term platform vision.
- Internal Leadership and Team Direction
- Act as the single accountable leader for Social Compliance across Worldly.
- Provide strategic direction and prioritization to the FFC product team and future Social Product Managers.
- Help define the long-term organizational model for Social Compliance as the business scales, including future hiring needs.
- Influence cross-functional teams through leadership, clarity, and alignment rather than direct authority.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
- Not a traditional Product Manager role: This role does not focus on writing detailed requirements, managing backlogs, or owning day-to-day delivery mechanics.
- Not a sales or quota‑carrying role: While heavily involved in deals and go‑to‑market strategy, this role does not carry an individual sales quota.
- Not a services or audit operations role: This role does not manage audit delivery, factory operations, or compliance execution services.
- Not limited to FFC or FSLM: While these are critical assets, this role owns the broader future of Social Compliance across Worldly.
- Not a purely internal strategy role: This role is expected to spend significant time with customers and in the market.
We’d Like to See
- Deep experience in social compliance, labor standards, human rights, or responsible sourcing within global supply chains.
- Proven ability to own and scale a product or business line with clear commercial accountability.
- Strong market presence and credibility with senior customer and industry stakeholders.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Comfort operating in fast‑paced, evolving environments with high ambiguity and high impact.
- A genuine commitment to sustainability and human rights, reflected in professional experience and values.
What We Can Offer You
- Comprehensive benefits offerings.
- 90% employee premium and 75% spouse/dependent premium covered by Worldly.
- Company‑sponsored 401k with up to 4% match.
- Incentive Stock Options.
- 100% Parental Paid Leave.
- Unlimited PTO.
- 13 company holidays.
