Worldly is trusted by 40,000 global brands, retailers, and manufacturers to provide the single source of ESG intelligence they need to accelerate business and industry transformation. Backed by a dedicated global team of individuals aligned by values, Worldly proudly operates as a public benefit corporation with backing from mission-aligned investors.
About The Opportunity
The Product Manager, Regulatory Outputs & Product Intelligence owns the product areas that sit at the intersection of product data, environmental methodology, and EU regulatory compliance: Product Impact Calculator (PIC), Material Sustainability Index (MSI), Product Environmental Footprint (PEF), and Digital Product Passport (DPP). These are among the most externally-visible and regulation-driven areas of the Worldly platform, operating in a competitive landscape that is moving fast. This role is as much market-facing as it is product-building. You’ll spend meaningful time with customers and prospects, own our competitive intelligence in this space, and serve as the internal authority on how the regulatory environment translates into product decisions. You’ll work closely with Sustainability Manager and Product Design personas, and partner with GTM on commercial conversations where PIC and DPP are the deciding factor.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full product strategy and roadmap for Worldly’s product tools suite, including PIC, MSI, and Regulatory Outputs (PEF, DPP, EcoScore).
- Drive market and competitive intelligence for the product tools space, including DPP container providers, LCA platforms, PEF specialists, and EU-focused competitors.
- Lead ongoing customer discovery through regular direct engagement with brand customers and prospects; represent Product in commercial conversations where PIC, DPP, and PEF are in scope.
- Track the regulatory environment — ESPR delegated act developments, PEFCR updates, and national regulations including France Decree 2025-957 — and translate findings into clear product implications and roadmap adjustments.
- Identify and scope data partnerships for EF database access ahead of EF 4.0.
- Operate as a hybrid inbound/outbound PM: pull signals from customers and the market and push them into roadmap and GTM planning in equal measure.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sustainability, Product Design, and GTM teams to align on priorities and drive execution.
We’d Like To See
- Experience in textile, soft good or hard goods product development: how products are designed, developed and sourced by consumer goods brands. You understand the supply chain and how it works, and what both brands and suppliers need out of it.
- 5+ years of product management experience; B2B SaaS required; supply chain, sustainability, and/or climate tech strongly preferred.
- Ideally you have direct, hands‑on experience with LCA, PEF, product carbon footprinting, or environmental data methodologies — enough depth to hold a credible conversation with a sustainability director or LCA practitioner.
- Genuine comfort being customer-facing — you should want to be in those conversations, not just tolerating them.
- Demonstrated ability to track a complex, evolving regulatory environment and make clear product decisions from ambiguous signals.
- Experience conducting competitive intelligence and market analysis, not just consuming it.
- A track record of working effectively across product, commercial, and technical teams.
It Helps If You Have
- Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks, particularly ESPR, CSRD, and Digital Product Passport requirements.
- Experience with or exposure to EF (Environmental Footprint) methodology and database structures.
- Prior work with sustainability-focused B2B platforms or tools in the apparel, footwear, or broader consumer goods space.
- Existing relationships or familiarity with LCA software vendors, PEF specialists, or DPP solution providers.

Final compensation figures will be determined based on experience and location.
