Worldline MTS (Mobility And E-Transactional Services) Provides End-to-end Digital Transactional Services Leveraging Our Products, Data, And Payment For a Stronger Customer Engagement. The Transport And Mobility Pillar Covers The Following Segments
- Transport Operations : delivering The Time Promise, by connecting the right operational people to the right assets at the right time, to enable an on-time railway.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mobility Partnerships and Programme Manager to join our Digital Retail & Marketplaces team within our Transport Retail UK business unit. Reporting to the Head of Digital Retail & Marketplaces you will play a key role in managing significant programmes and partnerships that delvier operational mobility marketplaces, making it more intuitive and simpler for people to plan and pay for transport journeys across all modes – including our flagship delivery of Mobility-as-a-Service within the West of England.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with project sponsors, multidisciplinary teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, project outcomes, required resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives and contractual commitments.
- Lead multidisciplinary programme and project teams for optimal return on investment, and be responsible for, and delegate, cross-project initiatives.
- Identify key requirements from multidisciplinary teams and external vendors, and coordinate these into structured programmes.
- Develop and manage budgets for projects and day to day delivery, accountable for delivery, ensuring achievable milestones and robust cost management to meet business goals/objectives.
- Collaborate with other managers and Product Owners to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the business unit.
- Analyse, evaluate, and mitigate delivery risks, producing programme reports for management and client partners.
- Manage strategic mobility partnerships with third-party organisations, businesses, or public sector clients, particularly where we deliver journey planning, payments, and marketplace tools.
- Work closely with the Head of Digital Retail & Marketplaces, alongside business development teams, to identify commercially viable partnerships using Worldline’s technical systems, enabling and supporting third parties in delivering mobility marketplaces, rail payments, or modal integrations.
Who Are We Looking For

- Excellent knowledge, experience and competence in transport payments; specifically Mobility as a Service, eCommerce and API based transport partnerships.
- Significant experience working with Local Authorities, Transport Operators, and Suppliers to deliver structured programmes and customer outcomes, ideally including delivering end-user solutions to local transport markets.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in complex Programme Management, with recognised Programme Management qualifications or comparable strategic partnership experience within transport.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build excellent working relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams internally and externally.
- Experience working with agile methods and techniques.
- Proven experience managing diverse budgets and financial literacy to oversee P&L.
