Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Ownership and management of the group's financial tracking processes, including revenue and cost forecasting, monitoring actual performance, and implementing remedial plans.
- Tracking spend and revenue profiles for projects, and managing the monthly reporting process.
- Liaising with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Transformation, Risk, and Quality teams as appropriate.
- Managing group-level risk, including tracking escalations and remedial actions.
- Financial reporting for R&D, including tracking capitalization and other expenditures.
- Overseeing small fertilization projects, ensuring quotes are produced, reviewed, issued, and invoiced correctly.
- Line management and coaching of a team of Project Managers.
- Participating as a member of the management team to address team or site issues as needed.
Who Are We Looking For

- A strong mathematical background with proficiency in financial data management and forecasting.
- A solid understanding of financial concepts such as profit and loss, costs, and revenue management.

- Proven experience using Excel for data management and interpreting detailed data breakdowns.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to work effectively with finance teams and across departments.
- Knowledge of the rail or travel industry is a plus but not required.
