Day-to-day responsibilities
Include the design, build, maintain and support on premise and cloud infrastructure and platform solutions, including migration activities from on premise to cloud hosting (AWS, GCP).
- We are looking to hire a skilled Cloud Engineer with experience in the following:
- Infrastructure Orchestration software (eg Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chief)
- Knowledge of Networking and Security management using VPC
- AWS networking, proxy and LB technologies: VPC, Cloud FORM, ELB, HAProxy
- Source Control, CI and Configuration Management tools – TFS, GIT derivatives, Build & Release using Jenkins etc.
- Creation and termination of the build environment as per the client/Engineering requirement
- User Management using Identity Access Management (IAM)
- DNS Hosting and Management – Route53
- Application Deployment using Elastic Beanstalk
- Managing the Load balancer & Autoscaling
- Container deployment and Management using Elastic Container Service (ECS), Docker, Kubernetes Fargate
- Elasticsearch Cluster Management
- Storage Management – S3 bucket management (creation, access policy management, Lifecycle policy management)

With either a Windows or Linux engineer background
- Knowledge and some Experience of/w Monitoring tools
- Knowledge/experience of VMWare, AWS, Google Cloud
- Working knowledge of storage technologies
- Working knowledge of Linux platform
- Bash (Intermediate to Proficient)
- Unix/Linux (RHEL and Cent OS) 2/3yrs min
- Working knowledge of Windows platform
- Windows Admin 2/3 yrs min
- AV and Windows Security
- Other Soft Skills
- Good verbal and written communications skills (in English).
- Good interpersonal skills
- Working well within a team
- Working well remotely
- Working knowledge of Agile/Dev Ops methods
- Monitoring the infrastructure on cloud using the monitoring tools like Cloudwatch
- OS troubleshooting (Windows and UNIX)
- FTP/SFTP management
