The Opportunity
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will collaborate with business leaders to drive organisational success through strategic people management. This role acts as a consultant and trusted advisor on all human resource matters, fostering a culture of performance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. On occasion, you will also support the HR Director in the delivery of projects and programs across multiple countries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and develop HR strategies to support achievement of business objectives. Provide insights and consultancy on workforce planning, organisational design, and organisational effectiveness.
- Talent Management: Partner with management to identify talent gaps, succession planning needs, and career development requirements. Facilitate talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, addressing and resolving employee issues, grievances, and conflicts in a timely manner. Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management: Guide leaders in the performance management process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying areas for improvement. Implement and manage performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate learning and development programs to promote employee growth and skill enhancement. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.
- Compliance and Policies: Ensure that HR policies and procedures are adhered to and comply with employment legislation and regulations. Provide guidance on HR matters, ensuring consistent application of policies and practices across the organization.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, employee engagement, turnover, and other metrics that inform strategic decisions. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership regarding HR metrics and initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Skills: Strategic thinking and business acumen, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and MS Office Suite, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment law. Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data and develop insights to drive decision-making.
