The opportunity
We are looking for a talented .Net & Cloud Services Full Stack Developer to join our innovative DevOps team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in both front-end and back-end technologies and will have a strong background in Cloud Services, particularly AWS, however we will consider candidates with Azure who can pick up AWS quickly. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance user experience. You will be based near one of our UK offices, ideally Beeston – as this role is hybrid and will require 3 day/week in the office.
You will work as part of a team on an emerging product to support the Worldline Mobility Marketplace that provides a platform for consumers to access and pay for integrated transport services across major cities for their end-to-end travel, involving multiple modes of transport such as bus, rail, taxis, e-scooters and e-bikes etc. The product is already in use in the UK and has plans to expand into European travel in the coming months.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS and GCP services such as Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
- Build user-friendly web applications using Svelte, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring a seamless and responsive experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployments and streamline the development workflow.
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and manage AWS resources efficiently.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and enhance functionality.
