The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 Β£ per year.

The opportunity

Provide support in the key and critical contracts/accounts in the contract negotiations phase and in the contract delivery phase. Be a commercial enabler by making sure to protect the company's revenues and identify potential commercial levers. Be a trustful adviser in providing advice on contract interpretations, negotiations and strategic decisions. Be a guardian of compliance with contractual obligations, provide contractual awareness to the Account team/Delivery team and follow up proper completion of contractual obligations, identifying risks and managing claims when needed. Collaborate, coordinate and facilitate the communication between the account team, delivery team and other corporate functions (Legal, Finance, etc.).

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Contract Management
  • Be a proactive member of the Worldline delivery team, advising and collaborating with the delivery team members in the contract execution to protect Worldline's interests.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations when needed. Participate in the preparations, strategy definition and meetings with the customer.
  • Participate in coordination with the Legal Counsels in the contract drafting and negotiations, in relation to the accounts where the contract manager is assigned.
  • Be the first point of contact of the sales/delivery team for all contractual matters and take charge of the direct follow up of the relevant customer contract/s in close coordination with the corresponding Legal Counsels.
  • Collaborate with the delivery teams in scope for gap analysis, project governance, management of change requests, management of major subcontractors, monitor the acceptance procedures and contract interpretation.
  • Draft and manage with the delivery team communications to be sent to the customer with contractual impact.
  • Ensure that all contract changes (e.g., addendum) are recorded in correct time and format, and that the performance of the contractual obligations is properly tracked, documented and monitored.
  • Identify, assess and manage risk-related areas in the contract execution and support rigorous and effective risk management processes in alignment with the risk teams.

Advising

  • Provide advice on issues of contractual interpretation and assist in any dispute resolution process.

Relationships

  • Develop external relationships with customer contract management counterparts, customer procurement teams and third-party personnel as may be required.
  • Develop a trusted adviser relationship with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial acumen: Ability to balance cost, value, margin, risk, and customer/service outcomes.
  • Expert contract management and negotiation skills: Deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts with suppliers, operators, public-sector bodies, or partners.
  • Risk and compliance management: Ability to identify contractual, regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks early and build protections into contracts and governance.
  • Stakeholder management and influencing: Strong ability to work across legal, procurement, finance, operations, engineering, and executive teams, plus external partners and customers.
  • Sector knowledge: transport/mobility operations: Familiarity with the specific dynamics of transport and mobility.
