The opportunity: Provide support in the key and critical contracts/accounts in the contract negotiations phase and in the contract delivery phase. Be a commercial enabler by protecting the company's revenues and identifying potential commercial levers. Be a trustful adviser on contract interpretations, negotiations and strategic decisions. Be a guardian of compliance with contractual obligations, raise contractual awareness to the account and delivery teams, follow up proper completion of contractual obligations, identify risks and manage claims when needed, and collaborate with legal, finance and other corporate functions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Be a proactive member of the Worldline delivery team, advising and collaborating with delivery team members in the contract execution to protect Worldline's interests.
- Lead complex contract negotiations when needed.
- Participate in the preparation, strategy definition, and meetings with the customer.
- Coordinate with Legal Counsels in contract drafting and negotiations, in relation to the accounts assigned to the contract manager.
- Act as the first point of contact for the sales/delivery team on all contractual matters and take charge of direct follow‑up with the relevant customer contracts in close coordination with Legal Counsels.
- Collaborate with delivery teams on scope for gap analysis, project governance, management of change requests, management of major subcontractors, monitor acceptance procedures and contract interpretation.
- Draft and manage communications to be sent to the customer with contractual impact.
- Ensure that all contract changes (e.g., addenda) are recorded at the correct time and format, and that the performance of contractual obligations is properly tracked, documented and monitored.
- Identify, assess and manage risk-related areas in the contract execution and support rigorous and effective risk management processes in alignment with the risk teams.
- Provide advice on issues of contractual interpretation and assist in any dispute resolution process.
- Develop external relationships with customer contract management counterparts, customer procurement teams and third‑party personnel as required.
- Develop a trusted adviser relationship with customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong commercial acumen: ability to balance cost, value, margin, risk, and customer/service outcomes.
- Expert contract management and negotiation skills: deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts with suppliers, operators, public‑sector bodies, or partners.
- Risk and compliance management: ability to identify contractual, regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks early and build protections into contracts and governance.
- Stakeholder management and influencing: strong ability to work across legal, procurement, finance, operations, engineering, executive teams, plus external partners and customers.
- Sector knowledge: transport / mobility operations familiarity with the specific dynamics of the industry.
