We are looking for a Bid Manager who will be the key link between the Worldline Sales leads and the business. You will be responsible for all elements of driving the bid forwards; orchestrating the bid team towards a successful client response. You will be responsible for a wide variety of solution focused bids ranging from traditional software development style client responses to leading edge Payments solution proposals. This is a very fast paced environment to work in so we are looking to hear from individuals who are able to manage their own and the bid team’s time effectively to ensure deadlines are met. You will have the confidence to deal with challenging situations in order to meet the tight bid response timelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a range of bids within the group that are often single service lines in accordance with company procedures.
  • The responsibility of the final production of the proposal in cooperation with delivery, legal, finance and sales departments.
  • Taking bids through the Worldline governance process.
  • Co-ordinate and manage resources required to respond to business opportunities in order to ensure that proposals and contracts are in line with Worldline strategy and capabilities and also meets the customers’ expectations and requirements.
  • The responsibility for the bid project plan and implementation, budget, processes, risk management & mitigation strategy, and all quality aspects concerning the bid preparation process.
  • Maintenance of our extensive Bid library and addition of new material as appropriate.
  • Support the migration of existing bid collateral to new Bid Management tool.

Who Are We Looking For

  • At least 5 years experience in Bid Management ideally in a services integration, Product or Payments environment.
  • Have highly articulate written skills with the ability to capture often complex concepts in a well-formed and clear written response.
  • Ability to manage communications and stakeholder engagement across various levels and roles across the business and with their clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment.
  • Self-motivated with high energy, resilience, creativity, passion and the hunger to learn, evolve and develop.
  • The ability to understand and analyse market-related data.
  • Adaptability to work flexible working patterns to ‘get the job done’.
  • Experience in creating a bid community and functional teams.
  • Experience in setting up business cases.
  • Experience in relevant legal aspects (e.g. terms of conditions, penalty systems).
  • Have held client and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • An excellent eye for detail with an emphasis on proofreading.
  • Awareness of key trends in the Transport, Health, Retail and / or the Hospitality sectors.
