Description
This role will be focused on our WorldFirst business line, an international payments business helping move money around the world. The Role
At WorldFirst, Product Marketing is stepping into the spotlight, and you are at the helm. As the first dedicated Product Marketer in the UK, you will sit at the dynamic crossroads of customer insight, product innovation, and commercial strategy. This is a brand new function, and you are here to build it from the ground up. You’ll be the go-to expert embedding market intelligence and customer segmentation directly into product teams. You will guide your team to what matters most to our customers, and lead the charge in launching new and existing products and features that truly resonate with our audience. It’s your mission to turn powerful ideas into real-world impact and shape what product marketing looks like at WorldFirst.
What You Will Do
- Develop deep expertise in our customer segments, market trends, and the competitive landscape. You’ll then own this knowledge as your strategic edge.
- Influence product prioritisation by championing the voice of the customer and bringing a sharp market and competitive lens to every discussion.
- Craft compelling value propositions that speak directly to customer pain points and clearly articulate the "why" behind our products.
- Lead the go-to-market process for your product tribe – owning the vision, strategy, and execution for each product and feature launch.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to build powerful go-to-market plans, launch materials, and sales enablement tools.
- Work with our UK Country Manager to shape and evolve our overarching product value proposition across key customer and buyer segments.
We Are Looking For Someone That Has
- A track record of leading impactful product launches and go-to-market campaigns across both marketing and sales channels.
- Proven experience in Product Marketing within a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
- Customer-obsessed experience with qualitative and quantitative customer research, segmentation and turning deep customer insight into action.
- You thrive in high-growth settings and embrace the pace, ambiguity, and opportunity that come with them.
- Equally strategic and hands-on – you love turning big ideas into measurable outcomes.
- Strong commercial instincts: you understand how to balance revenue growth with operational efficiency, and know how to pull levers like pricing, positioning, promotion, and placement to drive success.
- You are comfortable with doing the bigger and smaller tasks, and you always keep momentum moving.
