Job Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Enterprise Business Development Manager to spearhead our merchant services engagement with large enterprise clients in the UK. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving growth by establishing and cultivating value-based relationships, promoting and providing expert information about our global payment and digital solutions, and effectively liaising with relevant organizational teams to support client implementations. Your focus on the UK market will be vital in expanding our reach and enhancing our competitive position in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Client Engagement: Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers at large enterprise clients to understand their complex payment needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture long-term, successful partnerships with enterprise platform providers in key verticals to drive new business opportunities, capture market share, and generate revenue through integrated payment solution sales.
  • Consultative Sales: Employ a consultative sales approach to identify commercial opportunities, ensuring alignment between client objectives and our offerings, while effectively showcasing our global payment and digital solutions.
  • Organizational Collaboration: Actively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across diverse cultures and time zones, including authorized managers, finance, risk, legal and compliance, marketing, operations, and product development, to drive business objectives and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives, continuously enhancing client service delivery and market positioning.
  • Market Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory environments to inform internal planning and decision-making, effectively position our offerings in the market, and ensure compliance in all communications.

What we are looking for:

  • Resourceful hunter with a robust network in the local market.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems and digital solutions.
  • Proven experience selling complex enterprise solutions and/or payment services to both working-level and senior executive decision-makers.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze client needs deeply and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, consultative selling, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in English; another European language a plus.
