This role sits in the Marketing team and works closely with the regional Market Operations team. The Marketing team has been tasked with overseeing and executing brand, marketing and creative for the World, World Foundation and Tools for Humanity brands.
About The Role
The Marketing Manager, Central Europe is responsible for developing and executing a regional marketing strategy and plan to increase brand awareness, positive sentiment and drive app downloads and sign-ups. World is a ground up movement, and this role works to make World welcoming, relatable and inspiring.
The ideal candidate is a full-stack brand-led marketer, self-directed, intrinsically motivated to work hard, creatively strong and deeply experienced in marketing strategy, omnichannel planning and project management, reporting and measurement and managing creative development. Candidate requires top tier communication, influence and relationship building skills enabling them to get things done fast and at a high creative and executional standard.
This role is deeply involved with strategic and operational priorities in Central Europe, and collaborates with many cross-functional teams, from field and retail operations and real estate, to product, legal, policy and communications.
In This Role, You Will
- Create, develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, omnichannel plan and roadmap which captures locally relevant insights, tangible go-to-market strategies, OKR setting and measurement plans.
- Be brand-led, maintaining the World creative standard and strategic integrity in every execution and acting as regional brand manager.
- Project manage with a close attention to detail and obsession with execution.
- Measure and report your successes and learnings with marketing and finance stakeholders.
- Drive awareness and positive brand sentiment that inspires app downloads and Orb sign-ups.
- Partner with Regional General Manager and other cross functional stakeholders (product, legal, comms, policy etc.) to drive the development, execution and continuous improvement of World's expansion strategy, including partnerships.
- Connect global and local efforts by aligning global visions with local marketing strategy and plan and sharing findings from regional teams to advise global strategies.
- Collaborate with diverse vendors and internal specialists to get projects developed, designed, reviewed and deployed at a high creative standard.
You Might Thrive In This Role If You Have
- 7+ years of relevant experience in brand marketing, creative strategy, or related fields, ideally in a fast-growing, brand-led organization.
- A strong creative instinct, can manage the local brand and ensure a high creative standard across the US, enabling you to make decisions quickly and execute autonomously when needed.
- Adaptability, resilience and readiness to work with high agency, learn new things and innovate – taking extreme ownership to get things done with high impact.
- An interdisciplinary skillset that enables you to get things done faster.
- The ability to navigate through complexity and ambiguity to achieve results - creating your own roadmap with input from trusted parties.
- Top-tier communication and relationship building skills – pulling together diverse individuals with different interests to drive outcomes.
- A solid track record of achievement (e.g., worked in a top tier company/startup, have quickly assumed responsibilities or impacted results).
- A strong understanding of local culture, communities and the best ways to reach them.
- Fluency in English and European Union work authorization.
- Experience in copywriting, web design & development, graphic design, video editing, photography, digital marketing, SEO, service or UI/UX design is valuable.
- Readiness and excitement to collaborate in-office 5 days/week.
- A love for travel, ready to be on the road across Central Europe up to 40% of your capacity in order to evaluate and improve retail operations and execute local campaigns and activations.
