What You’ll Do
As a Rights Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Rights Manager and Archive Producers with the clearance and use of archive footage, stills, and audio. Working as part of the Research & Rights Management team, you’ll manage the end‑to‑end process – from sourcing and clearing rights to maintaining accurate documentation and supporting financial administration. You’ll liaise with internal teams and external rights holders, ensure all usage is fully cleared and compliant, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes to support content delivery for a key client account.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Act as the point of contact for both internal and external footage suppliers.
- Offer consultation to client’s production partners on research and archive clearance best practice.
- Proactively manage archive footage clearances, contracts and licences across multiple productions, including delegating work to the rights assistant.
- Maintain key administrative documents relating to the footage archive and rights clearance, including tracking all rights in place and their expiration dates.
- Manage all budgets, cost reports, payments, and invoicing associated with all footage, archive, stills and audio usage and clearance fees.
- Assist the Production Accountant with monthly financial reports.
- Assist Rights Manager and Archive Producers in the development of training materials and facilitate the sharing of knowledge of rights clearance processes.
- Carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of the job.

Working Conditions
The work location is Chiswick Park, London. This is a fixed‑term contract until May 2027. Working hours are 9am–5pm with occasional work outside of working hours where necessary for the business.
