IMG is a leading global sports marketing agency, specializing in media rights management and sales, multi-channel content production and distribution, brand partnerships, strategic consulting, digital services, and events management. It powers growth of revenues, fanbases and IP for more than 200 federations, associations, events, and teams.
IMG Studios are looking for a Project Manager on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract to be responsible for taking research and rights projects from end-to-end for a global luxury brand. The position will support complex archive projects with tight timelines to ensure timely delivery and execution.
You will collaborate with Archive Producers from multiple agencies, work closely with Rights and Media Managers, and be supported by the Senior Operations Manager to drive projects forward and ensure they are delivered on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Keep across industry trends and players in the industry who may be beneficial to future projects.
- Support internal and external production teams with Project Management. This will include scheduling meetings and project ceremonies; compiling agendas, action points, owners and deadlines; tracking task delivery, coordinating communication across teams and supporting with conflict resolution and removal of project blockers.
- Administer Research and Rights authored platforms & processes including any interfacing between internal and external systems such as Lucid Link, Premier Pro, Iconik, Smartsheet.
- Support Research and Rights Managers and partners with authoring project playbooks, frameworks and developing PM environments so they are equally efficient across campaigns of all shapes and sizes.
- Support Research and Rights projects ensuring the correct team and process are allocated to ensure end to end delivery of each project.
- Deliver and ensure best practice in motivating and appraising direct reports.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the brand values, ethos, and strategic vision of the client and their partner agencies.
- Customer/client/user focused solutions building including forms, request/task intake and automation of routine tasks.
- Knowledge of edit workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of licensing best practice, Archive research and Media Management workflows.
- Advanced understanding of how Archive is managed within production lifecycles specific to branded content and TVCs.
- Project or Production Management experience with emphasis on Lean/Agile practice and methodology.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role.
- Previous experience working with archive houses, rights holders, and governing bodies.
- Previous experience communicating with key client stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a sports media/production business (preferable, not essential).
- This is a full-time 12-month fixed-term contract role.
- The role will be based at Chiswick Park, with occasional requirement to work at our Stockley Park office and partner agencies.
