What You’ll Do: Step into the fast-paced world of Euroleague Basketball media and play a key role in ensuring everything runs seamlessly! Reporting to the Media Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our media management team, keeping EuroLeague and EuroCup Basketball content flowing. From ingesting matches, clips, and highlights into our DAM system to creating and managing melt reels, you’ll ensure media is organized, accessible, and ready for action. Your enthusiasm will shine through as you help source material for edits, plan recording schedules, and troubleshoot any hiccups in transfers. With a sharp eye for detail, you’ll manage metadata, produce logging templates, and ensure all games have comprehensive statistical and TV logs. You’ll also help facilitate the delivery of games, features, and other content to the Euroleague Media portal, keeping broadcasters and partners stocked with top-tier content.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- To help ensure all EuroLeague and EuroCup Basketball material including matches, clips and highlights programmes are ingested and archived.
- Working alongside the Production team to help research, source, download, and organise clips for live games, features, promos, and other edits.
- Create and manage the leagues melt reels.
- Ensure all rushes from camera shoots is ingested and available for edits.
- Provide point of contact and deliver upon any archive requests from EuroLeague Basketball and broadcasters.
- To communicate any failures in transfers to the relevant personnel.
- Ensure housekeeping of short, medium and long term storage solutions.
- Deliver transcoding requests internally and externally.
- Assisting with EuroLeague game night coverage.
- Adhere to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as required.
- May also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of production workflows.
- Able to demonstrate excellent research ability.
- Shows initiative and prioritise workload without close supervision.
- Thorough understanding of editorial compliance issues.
- Demonstrates good editorial judgement.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, IPD, ISIS and Viz One.
- Candidate will be expected to have previous experience of working in a demanding environment (Preferably TV production).
- Experience working as a media assistant with good knowledge of different file types.
Working Conditions:
- The work location is Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
- This is a fixed term contract until June 2027.
- You will be required to work flexible hours and possible weekends, the festive period, Easter, and bank holidays.
- You may be required to travel abroad.
