Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing day-to-day security services to UFC employees, contractors, and events, as directed by the Vice President and/or Senior Director and/or Director and/or Senior Manager of Global Event Security. This position researches and stays abreast of the security climate for upcoming UFC event destinations and other safety and security factors that would impact our business.
Responsibilities:
- Manages event security at designated events.
- Monitors safety and security climate pertaining to intelligence and incidents that could impact our events or traveling employees.
- Manages and monitors accreditation/event venue access system as necessary.
- Implements, and monitors policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Implements and monitors emergency procedures in the event of a disaster or other emergency.
- Responds to and investigates incidents, accidents, and criminal acts against the company or employees during their work shift and completes appropriate incident reports or other paperwork necessary to document the situation and the outcome.
- Reports findings to Vice President and/or Senior Director and/or Director and/or Senior Manager of Global Event Security.
- Serves as backup or relief position as needed to the Senior Manager of Global Event Security in the managing of security related affairs at designated events.
- Provides personal protection for executives and athletes per procedure and pre-arranged protocol and directives.
- Manages all potential and real threats using only those tactics necessary to address the threat and to draw the least amount of attention to the situation.
- Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
- High School diploma or successful completion of qualifying General Education Development (GED) program.
- Associates or higher degree preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or the Military, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- CPR/AED Certification is required.
- Adequate computer skills, with a working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various other software programs.
- Ability and willingness to obtain a passport and travel up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups, including members of the senior management team.
- Ability to cultivate and establish effective relationships with all levels of management and coworkers, as well as security and police personnel nationally.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain discretion and protect confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, run, bend, reach, talk and hear.
- Must have the ability to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
