Who We Are: IMG is a leading global sports marketing agency, specializing in media rights management and sales, multi-channel content production and distribution, brand partnerships, strategic consulting, digital services, and events management. It powers growth of revenues, fanbases and IP for more than 200 federations, associations, events, and teams.

Working Conditions: Permanent, London Chiswick Park, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

What You'll Do:

  • Researching and writing of press materials: announcements, key messaging, executive bios, and other essential communications materials.
  • Ongoing monitoring of global media coverage, timely flagging of all mentions/articles, and gathering all coverage reports for key stakeholders.
  • Compiling Comms/PR activity & coverage recaps.
  • Researching and compiling industry updates.
  • Managing and updating activity trackers.
  • Pulling together key media lists for announcements.
  • Helping with the organization of key press events, and working at wider partner events where needed.
  • Supporting SVP, Communications and providing wider team administrative assistance as needed, to ensure smooth team operations.
  • Developing media relationships and starting to pitch ideas for stories.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to uncover compelling, press-worthy stories.
  • Working in close collaboration with Comms/PR and wider partner teams across TKO, developing strong relationships with peers across global offices.
  • Researching, developing, and maintaining media contact lists, fostering strong media relationships.
  • Researching feature and executive speaking engagement opportunities.
  • Help prepare and distribute internal newsletters and other communication materials.
  • Identifying and helping submit industry awards.
  • Managing invoices, subscriptions, and bookings related to communications efforts.

You Have These:

  • 2 years + strong foundational level experience in public relations/communications in the sports or entertainment industry, agency experience welcomed.
  • Good knowledge of and passion for sport and the sports industry.
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Some experience of working with the media.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Adept at working collaboratively within a team-oriented, global environment.
  • Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced work setting, remaining calm and positive.
