What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology (WWT) is currently seeking a FinOps Technical Solutions Architect who will work closely with our clients to design, implement, and manage financial cloud operations and solutions tailored to their unique needs. This position requires a deep understanding of both financial concepts and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. As a FinOps Technical Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, sales, operations, and technical experts, to develop and deliver comprehensive FinOps strategies. You will drive client success by ensuring efficient cost management, optimizing cloud spending, and enhancing financial visibility through innovative solutions. This role demands creativity, analytical thinking, and effective communication to present complex financial insights to stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals, challenges, and requirements
- Design and implement custom as well as standardized FinOps solutions that align with client objectives
- Analyze cloud usage patterns and cost data to identify optimization opportunities
- Develop forecasts and reports to provide actionable insights
- Present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support
- Stay current with industry best practices and trends in FinOps and cloud technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or related fields
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, services, and cost structures
- Associate-level certifications in one or more of the three main cloud providers - AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Familiarity with The FinOps Foundation, frameworks, and best practices
- Familiarity with FinOps tooling such as Cost Management Platforms, Dashboards, and Optimization tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
